Oahu is the island that most people visit on their first time to Hawaii (mostly because it’s often cheapest to fly into Honolulu). There is plenty to do on Oahu, from appreciating the island’s lush landscape to lounging on its famous beaches. It will be the busiest island though, so keep in mind that means crowds and traffic (especially in and around Honolulu). If you’re looking for a more peaceful stay in Oahu, opt to stay outside of Honolulu. Most of Oahu’s best activities are located outside of the city, anyway.
